Artist Gallery: Arthur Adams

Arthur Adams is undoubtedly one of my two favourite comic book artists, the other being Mike Mignola, which is odd because they represent almost exact opposite approaches to illustration.

Adams has penciled a number of comic books over the years, but his artwork is so popular that Marvel and DC have been getting him to do covers almost exclusively, perhaps in an attempt to boost the popularity of under-performing titles, which is too bad because I would buy an entire comic illustrated by Adams but not a comic with merely a cover by him.

My collection of hand-signed limited-edition art books by Arthur Adams are among some of my prized possessions.
